Bryon Mackey, winner of two NHRA Wally Parks trophy’s and up and coming strong arm in AA/promod competition. 

He has driven many different cars for many different people, from super comp dragster, alcohol dragster, Top Alcohol funny car to AA/promod. He holds 7 different licenses in NHRA competition. 

Bryon has driven at the NHRA competition level for more than 15 years he is successful in many aspects of the sport from winning races to changing his own motor. His ambition, commitment, and determination will put him and his sponsors on the top. Mackey Family Racing is a three car team and a dedicated family. Jamie (Bryon's wife) drives a super comp dragster, and sister Robin drives a super gas roadster, and Bryon drives the Promod. 

Bryon has driven at the national level most recently at the 2006 Saint Louis event in the promod class. This event went well for our young team. Bryon has also attended Frank Hawley's school and was able to get his TAFC license in just one visit. 

New for 2007 Mackey Family Racing has purchased a 1941 Willy's. This car was built in 2001 by Tommy Mauney. The Team will continue to run the AJ 481x this year. The schedule for this season includes the complete West Coast Pro Mod circuit, and some match races in the western US.
